Tracy Shaw is a passionate outdoorswoman, business owner, and certified archery instructor with a deep-rooted dedication to youth development and outdoor heritage. She currently serves as the Vice President of the Arkansas Scholastic Archery Program (ASAP) — a nonprofit organization that empowers students through archery and helps them access college scholarship opportunities.
Tracy also holds the role of Arkansas State Director for Wildlife Women and is proud to be part of the Pro Staff team for both Arkansas Extreme Outdoors and Bass Pro Shops. As a skilled outdoor guide, she shares her extensive knowledge of hunting, fishing, and wilderness skills with individuals and families, inspiring others to embrace the outdoor lifestyle.
Originally from East Tennessee and raised in Batesville, Arkansas, Tracy grew up immersed in nature. Her Cherokee heritage and upbringing instilled in her a deep respect for the land. Her father introduced her to hunting, while her mother taught her traditional skills such as meat processing, gardening, canning, and sewing.
A proud mother of two and a devoted dog mom, Tracy lives and breathes the outdoor way of life. If given the choice, she’d happily live in a treehouse with her family, surrounded by nature.
Known online as “Arkansas Outdoors Woman” across Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram, Tracy uses her platforms to encourage and empower women and youth to connect with nature and preserve our outdoor heritage. Her passion for hunting — especially alligator and turkey hunting — has led her to mentor countless newcomers to the sport.
Tracy actively hunts deer, squirrel, rabbit, duck, geese, and predators, and is equally at home fishing, gardening, and preserving food. Her lifestyle reflects a commitment to self-sufficiency, tradition, and sharing her knowledge with the next generation.
We are thrilled to have Tracy as part of our community and look forward to the inspiration and expertise she brings.
