Sonny was born and raised in Central Arkansas and graduated from Mills High School in Little Rock Arkansas. He is a proud parent of two adult children and has taught them both how to make the most out of life.

Sonny has been fishing and hunting his whole life. When he was a young boy, during deer season, his dad would climb a tree with spurs and sit Sonny on a limb to hunt until he came back for him. Sonny was taught from a young age how to put food on the table, and he has done that all his life. Sonny is very passionate about deer hunting and has hunted in different states. He has taken many big bucks.  He enjoys taking his nephew Reece, and others, deer hunting.

 

Sonny is a vital part of Arkansas Extreme Outdoors, as a camera operator, when he takes others hunting or fishing. Sonny’s favorite area to hunt is the Ouachita Mountains where he puts out dozens of trail cameras to see where the deer are. Another summer passion for Sonny is fishing.  He loves to run Yo-Yos as a way to put food on the table for his friends and family. If it’s outdoors, Sonny is always ready to join-in to make it a fun and memorable trip!
