Mark is excited to join the AEO Media team, calling it “a fun opportunity to share what I’ve learned over 30 years of fly‑fishing, fly‑tying, camping, and teaching.” Since retiring in 2021, Mark has spent most weeks on the water—drifting and fly‑fishing below Beaver Dam, Bull Shoals, the Norfork Tailwater, and occasionally the Little Red.

For Mark, the experience goes far beyond landing big fish. “It’s not just about catching big fish; it’s about helping anglers—young or old—learn how to safely improve their skills and have fun on our tailwaters and streams.”

When he’s not on the river, Mark is an active digital outdoor‑music and fly‑fishing tutorial creator, publishing content through @flyfishcookbook, driftboatmedia.com, and now AEO.
